I remember waking up and turning on the news and seeing the second plane hit the World Trade Center. It was a sight you never forget. I went to the gym and remember every one was stunned, it was the weirdest feeling. After the gym, I went into the place I worked at the time. My boss was to fly out and remember her calling the office saying all planes were stopped and to go home. I was glued to the TV for hours watching the coverage. I remember it all like it was yesterday.
I didn’t have a chance to see the twin towers before they were destroyed. I have since been to NYC several times and ground zero still has a very weird vibe to it.
Remember those who lost their lives this day 5 years ago.
