Who's Eligible to Enter this Challenge?

The Body-for-LIFE Grand Master Champion will be awarded:

12 Grand Champions (one from each category) will be:

12 Grand Champion Runners-Up will be awarded:
• $5,000 cash prize!

Rules and Regulations
The Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000™ consists of 7 separate 12-week Challenge Competitions, combining a body transformation and a written Questionnaire. Each Competitor receives, upon request, an Official Rules and Regulations Guide that states the start date and completion date for that Competitor's 12-week Challenge Competition. Each Competitor must select the appropriate category in which to compete and must complete one 12-week Challenge Competition of 12 consecutive weeks to be eligible to win.

Timelines and Deadlines
To enter this round of the Million Dollar Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000, you may start your Program on January 1, 2000, but no later than January 31, 2000. And, you must complete your 12-week Program no later than April 24, 2000. After your 12-week Program, you must complete this Official Rules and Regulations Guide and send it, by overnight courier, to Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000, 555 Corporate Circle, Golden, CO 80401. Completed Official Rules and Regulations Guides must be received no later than May 4, 2000.

How You Will Be Judged
Absolutely anyone has a chance of becoming a Champion. It doesnÕt matter if youÕre a man or woman, 22 or 62. Champions are judged on who has made the most improvement in their category over the 12-week Challenge period and who can best express how the trans-formation and building a better body has changed their life for the better.

Each and every completed Official Rules and Regulations Guide submitted will be reviewed by a panel of judges (all Body-for-LIFE/EAS representatives) familiar with the effects of exercise, nutrition, supplementation, and goal setting on body and life transformations. TheyÕll carefully examine your "before" and "after" photos, and based on your overall level of improvement, theyÕll award you a score between 60 and 100 points. They will also review your Inner Transformation Questionnaire and award you with a score between 60 and 100 points, based on how well youÕre able to powerfully and concisely express how you have transformed on the inside. (Remember, 50% of your score is based on your physical improvement, 50% on your written Questionnaire.)

After all 7 separate competitions are completed, the 2,000 highest scoring Competitors will become Champions. Champions may not be equally distributed among the categories. In case of ties, the first tie breaker will be the Questionnaire score. The second tie breaker will be the body-transformation score. JudgesÕ decisions will be final.

Within each Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000 category, 3 winners (first, second, and third place) will be selected from among the 2,000 Champions. A Champion in the Inspirational Category will be selected at EASÕ sole discretion. One Grand Master Champion for the Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000 will be selected from all qualified entries. The Grand Master Champion will be selected by the Judges and Bill Phillips as the BEST representative for the Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000 based on overall body transformation and self-expression in the Questionnaire. Champions will be notified by mail and phone after December 20, 2000.

Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in each category. In the couples category, the prize awards will be shared jointly by the couple. If the Grand Master Champion is selected from the Couples category, the prize awards will be shared jointly by the couple. Champions are responsible for all applicable state and federal taxes; prizes are not transferable; and there will be no substitutes for the prizes.

First place Champions in each category, the Champion in the Inspirational category, the first-place couple in the Couples category, and the Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000 Grand Master Champion will become exclusive endorsers for EAS/Body-for-LIFE and related prod-ucts and services and will be offered the honor of entering into a two-year exclusive endorsement agreement with EAS/Body-for-LIFE.

Who's Eligible to Enter this Challenge?
Competitors must be at least 18 years old before starting their 12-week Challenge Competition. Eligibility to participate is subject to the rules and regulations of the jurisdiction where each competitor lives as applicable to participation in contests. Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000 is void where prohibited.

Employees of EAS and of its affiliated companies, advertising agencies, or consultants and contractors providing services for Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to become Champions.

Competitors in previous EAS Transformation Challenges may compete in the Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000, but past Champions of any EAS Transformation Challenge are not eligible to win the Body-for-LIFE Challenge 2000. Individuals who have competed in pre-vious EAS 12-week Challenge Competitions must complete a new Program and submit new before and after photographs along with this completed Rules and Regulations Guide.

Competitors may not use ephedra-based supplements or strength-enhancing prescription medications unless prescribed by a physician to treat a medical condition (medication and medical condition must be noted in your Questionnaire). All Champions will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility.

You can follow whatever type of training and nutrition program you want during the course of this Challenge, but the Body-for-LIFE Program, as it is laid out in its entirety in Bill PhillipsÕ #1 New York Times bestselling book, Body-for-LIFE, is highly recommended.
